Break up with FEAR

 That moment when you realize that the need to be in control of everything comes from a place of fear.  Not where I have to have my hands in everything, but in planning and knowing what the plan is.  It's crazy how you can recognize all kinds of fear and yet totally disregard the need to have things worked out a certain way, or have at least 3 different ways to work it out is all stemmed from the same place.  FEAR.  Yeah, I think it's about that time me and you break up.  You no longer serve a purpose in my life or anybody attached to it.  In fact, you have officially been served and you are now trespassing.  GO!

 I don't know about you, but this has been some season for me.  I have been pushed mentally and spiritually.  I found myself trying to plan everything and not really leaving room for surprises, because I had a plan for that too.  Let me tell you about how that has worked out for me lol.  You know me writing my blogs and having them out every Sunday was apart of my plans smh.   Not only were my plans temporarily effective, but it showed me more about ME.  How much trust I really have.  Now I'm not ignorant to my levels of trust, but I was able to see it from a different prospective.

Planning has to do with strategy. 

The word says:

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Matthew 6:34

"But seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Proverbs 16:9

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Proverbs 3:6

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

There are things that God may show you or something that He has placed in your heart and then you may start planning how you will execute it.  If we don't leave room in the planning (strategy) for God to make changes or even stop it, then we have limited our access to greater.  It doesn't mean the access is not there, it means we have mentally chosen to have limits. 

Me believing that I was preparing and not leaving room for change was keeping me from allowing greater.  His word also says:

Isaiah 55:8-9

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.  "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

 There is a reason to seek Him first, but not only first.  Through the process.  In ALL YOUR WAYS acknowledge HIM!  There may be a ram in the bush, there may be something you need to bless so He can multiply it and it feed a multitude or generations to come.  Trust is the opposite of fear.  There is no need to have fear where you trust.

Trust establishes relationship and my Father has yet to cause me to not trust Him.  What kind of relationship do you have with the Father?  Do you trust Him with those disappointments, pain or abuse?  Are you in a place mentally to lay all those things at the Father's feet?  Do you believe that you are worth more than any circumstance that you have experienced trauma? 

Friend I'm here to encourage you to if anything, enter into a relationship with God.  I'm still learning the many ways that He loves me and has had his hand on me even before I believed He did.  I'm so grateful for a God that has loved me enough to take away and make an exchange for every fear, hurt, disappointment or lack of love in my life.  

1 John 4:18-19

"There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.  The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  We love because He first loved us."

Relationship with the one who loves us strengthens trust and causes the need for fear or anything attached to it to cease.  May this day, you make a decision to BREAK UP with FEAR and get into a relationship with the Lover Himself.  God a loving Father!

Prayer:

Thank you Father that where your spirit is, there is freedom.  It is with you, in you and by you that we are made free from fear and everything that tries to keep us in a place of bondage.  So today we choose and receive your perfect love that cast away all fears.  We no longer give place or an open door to fear.  Thank you that we can lay it at your feet and find rest.  In Jesus name, Amen.

 

You are ROYALTY! You can choose it.

It has already chosen YOU...

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

• Pray and ask God to reveal areas where you may have fear.
• Write those things down and begin to find scriptures that will help with that. (Ex. Anxiety, find scriptures of Peace)
• Pray those scriptures and declare no more to those fears.
• Continue to seek God and walk out the truth of Perfect Love by having a consistent relationship with Him.
• Journal your journey and celebrate your new freedom.
